The Insurance Calculator is a simple web tool that helps you estimate how much insurance premium you need to pay based on:
Type of insurance
Your age
Coverage amount
Duration of the policy
The tool automatically calculates both yearly and monthly premiums and shows a full 12-month breakdown.
🧭 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow each step carefully to use the tool correctly.
✅ Step 1: Select Insurance Type
At the top of the tool, you will see a dropdown labeled “Insurance Type.”
Click on it and choose one option:
-
Life Insurance → for long-term life coverage
-
Health Insurance → for medical coverage
-
Car Insurance → for vehicle protection
👉 This step is important because each type uses a different calculation rate.
✅ Step 2: Enter Your Age
Below the dropdown, you will find the Age input field.
Type your age in numbers (for example: 25, 30, 45)
Do not enter text or symbols
👉 Your age affects how expensive your insurance will be. Higher age usually means higher premium.
✅ Step 3: Enter Coverage Amount
Next, enter the Coverage Amount.
This is the total value of insurance you want.
Examples:
100000
500000
1000000
👉 The higher the coverage amount, the higher your premium will be.
✅ Step 4: Enter Duration (Years)
Now enter how many years you want the insurance for.
Examples:
1 year
5 years
10 years
20 years
👉 Longer durations may increase the premium slightly.
